Mane Connection – In the Field

Mane Connection – In the Field

A restorative, nature-centered gathering for women designed to help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and embrace the healing power of stillness.

Held among the quiet presence of a free-roaming herd, In the Field offers something few wellness experiences can—a day immersed in nature alongside horses, whose quiet awareness and grounded presence have a remarkable way of inviting us to slow down. Whether you come because you love horses, love nature, or simply need a day to reset your nervous system, there is never any expectation to interact with the horses beyond your own comfort level—simply sharing their peaceful space can be restorative in itself.

Welcome Meditation & Introduction to the Herd

We’ll begin with a relaxed introduction to the horses followed by a gentle guided meditation. This time is simply about arriving, feeling grounded, and allowing yourself to settle into the peaceful rhythm of the day.

Tea Offering

Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared array of teas while learning about the qualities and traditional properties of each blend. This is an opportunity to slow down, nourish the body, and connect with other women.

One-Hour Sound Healing

Each gathering includes a one-hour sound healing experience presented by Sound Wellness Northwest using Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, tuning forks, and Reiki energy. Sound healing is designed to encourage deep relaxation, helping calm the nervous system, ease physical tension, and support emotional well-being. Experiencing these healing sounds outdoors, surrounded by the peaceful setting of the field and the quiet presence of the herd, creates a truly unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself in nature.

Journaling, Flowers & Rest

Following the sound bath, you’ll have time for intentional journaling and personal reflection before enjoying an unhurried afternoon. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the field, relax beneath the trees, or take a peaceful walk through the property. Light snacks and a seasonal make-and-take bouquet station featuring locally grown flowers will be available, with the opportunity to forage for greenery to personalize your arrangement.

*Special Experience included with Aug. gathering

Masterson Method® Therapeutic Touch & Equine Intuitive Experience.

Enjoy a brief introduction to the Masterson Method®, a gentle hands-on technique that helps horses release tension and deepen connection through mindful touch. Joining us for this special gathering is intuitive practitioner Jane Hicks, who will share her insights into each horse’s energy and the unique qualities she perceives within the herd. Whether you’re simply curious or already drawn to this work, this experience offers a thoughtful introduction to a different way of connecting with horses.

Additional Wellness Experiences

Each gathering also features optional wellness experiences with guest practitioners. Depending on the date, these may include Reiki, intuitive color and oracle readings, energy healing, mini facials, and other seasonal offerings. These experiences are booked separately, are completely optional and vary with each event.
