Welcome Meditation & Introduction to the Herd
We’ll begin with a gentle guided meditation followed by a relaxed introduction to the horses. This time is simply about arriving, feeling grounded, and allowing yourself to settle into the peaceful rhythm of the day.
Tea Offering
Enjoy a thoughtfully prepared variety of teas while learning about the qualities and traditional properties of each blend. This is an opportunity to slow down, nourish the body, and connect with other women.
One-Hour Sound Healing
Each gathering includes a one-hour sound healing experience presented by Sound Wellness Northwest using Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums, tuning forks, and Reiki energy. Sound healing is designed to encourage deep relaxation, helping calm the nervous system, ease physical tension, and support emotional well-being. Experiencing these healing sounds outdoors, surrounded by the peaceful setting of the field and the quiet presence of the herd, creates a truly unique opportunity to reconnect with yourself in nature.
Journaling, Flowers & Rest
Following the sound bath, you’ll have time for intentional journaling and personal reflection before enjoying an unhurried afternoon. Bring a picnic lunch to enjoy in the field, relax beneath the trees, or take a peaceful walk through the property. Light snacks and a seasonal make-and-take bouquet station featuring locally grown flowers will be available, with the opportunity to forage for greenery to personalize your arrangement.
Additional Wellness Experiences
Each gathering also features optional wellness experiences with guest practitioners. Depending on the date, these may include Reiki, intuitive color and oracle readings, energy healing, mini facials, and other seasonal offerings. These experiences are booked separately and vary with each event.

Where is the event held?
In the Field takes place at Skyview Farm on the north end of Canby, just outside Oregon City. Follow the Skyview Farm/Mane Connection signs, down the driveway and park in the gravel near the barn.
We will all gather here as a group before heading out to the field!
What should I wear?
Dress in layers and wear closed-toe shoes. Layers are recommended for any type of weather as it can get breezy on the farm and some tend to get chilly when resting. You’re welcome to go barefoot once settled in the field, but please wear close toe shoes whenever you’re around the horses.
What should I bring?
Please bring a water bottle, a journal (optional), and a packed lunch if you’d like to picnic afterward. We recommend a lunch that doesn’t require refrigeration or bringing a small cooler.
What kind of seating is provided?
Cushions are provided for the tea offering. If you’re not comfortable sitting on the ground, please bring a lightweight lawn chair. For the sound bath, please bring whatever will make you most comfortable lying on the grass, such as a yoga mats, a blanket, pillow, or bolster.
Will food and drinks be provided?
A tea selection will be served during the tea offering. During the floral bouquet activity, enjoy light snacks from a local bakery, gluten-free options, and seasonal fruit. We recommend bringing your own water bottle to stay hydrated, though we’ll have a small supply of water available if needed.
Do I need horse experience?
Not at all. No horse experience is needed, and there is never any expectation to interact with the horses beyond your comfort level.
Will I interact with the horses?
The event takes place among our free-roaming herd. The horses are free to come and go, and all interactions are completely optional. Renee will be on the ground at all times to keep interactions safe.
Is the event physically demanding?
No. This is a slow-paced day focused on rest and relaxation. If you have mobility concerns, please contact us before registering.
Can I book additional wellness experiences?
Yes! Reiki, mini facials, massage, intuitive readings, and other offerings are available for an additional fee. Pre-booking is recommended. Link will be provided once you have purchased your ticket for the main event.
What is your refund policy?
Tickets are fully refundable (minus ticketing fees) with at least 5 days’ notice. Tickets may also be transferred to another woman or, if space allows, to a future event with 48 hours’ notice.
Is this a religious event?
No. Women of all backgrounds and beliefs are welcome. Our focus is simply on nature, yourself, and the quiet presence of the herd—a space to rest, reconnect, and nourish yourself.
